They are 100% biodegradable, which means that they can be returned to the earth with no negative effects on the environment. They are a great alternative for those trying to ditch synthetic wasteful plastic scourers. Can be used on dishes, pots or surfaces. Non scratch.
CARE: Rinse your coconut scourer thoroughly after each use and squeeze out excess water to remove food particles and soap. Hang it up or place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry completely between uses - this prevents bacterial growth and extends the life of your scourer. For occasional deep cleaning, you can soak the scourer in hot water with a splash of vinegar or run it through the dishwasher. Replace your scourer every 1-2 months depending on usage, or when the fibres begin to break down and lose their scrubbing effectiveness.
